<p>i made some more changes & not sure how well they will show
up in the document so listing here:</p>
<p>line 47: "Systerserver is a network of ... " (rather than "offers
services to its network ... " to avoid the service provider
suggestion)</p>
<p>lines 143-5 - i've put in what i suggest, & we should add if
people should bring their laptop.</p>
<p>line 158-60 - i haven't added here, but think we should put in
something along the lines of my comment below.</p>
<p>lines 185-6 - should we add here where we are coming from? i'd be
travelling from munich.</p>
<p>might be good to add some additional information in that final
section? something about our community's interconnection with many
different groups & working to share FOSS skills over a long
period of time??</p>
<p>sorry i can't do more on this now, i did a lot of driving today
& then had an amazing time watching huge flocks of shorebirds
doing their evening murmurations & settling down - i'm at this

laptop? will it be a hands-on workshop or more of a

<p>after that, we need to answer the question "What does
"radically open" mean to you?" - i think it's very important to
answer this, as that's the heart of the festival. for example,
radically open for us means literally opening up the hardware
& software & getting into the guts of it; it means
knowing how stuff works, not just accepting a closed box.</p>
<p>& "How do you F/LOSS?" - we need to answer how we
communicate our approach to open source - e.g. through our
long-standing community, shared learning experiences, working
together on the servers and tools/platforms, mailing lists &
workshops & being open to new people coming in, giving
workshops, presentations, book chapters, etc.</p>
<p>i'm travelling at the moment but will try to look again later

general, I'd rather propose this:<br>
- I started filling and copypasting the form on <a

- we can arrange a meeting by the end of week (let's say
tuesday 16:00 CET unless we can arrange a more

and the format we want to propose;<br>
- then by Jan 14th, we can review the application on the
pad so I can send it before the deadline (Jan 16th,
16:26 CET).</p>

there! <br>
My suggestion is to propose a session on community
VPN tunnelling because it'd fit the topic quite well
IMO. And it'd also be a nice occasion to extend the
existing networks and improving docs. <br>
