[Adminsysters] mastodon-social network?

sorry to be a killjoy, but i'm not a fan of this idea, because social
networking platforms don't only pose technological problems, but also
human problems when having to moderate abusers and trolls.

if we start having people who misbehave in our instance, (at least at
the moment) we don't have the energies to handle that. even if we open
the instance only to people we know, those accounts might be hijacked,
which would require us acting immediately.

this of course is not a veto: if there are enough people who want to
manage this instance (at least 3 who can be active when required, i'd
say), then all the problems i'm raising disappear :)
