hi all,

i haven't been following things because i've just travelled to nz & am
in managed isolation, & have quite a lot else going on in my life at the
moment so generally overly busy. but i'm seeing all the emails flowing &
appreciating all the work you are doing :)

one of the things i'm doing at the moment is helping with a series of
interviews for the 35th anniversary of the magdalena project, which was
originally supposed to be audio interviews that we could host on our
website with servus.at; but it turns out that the interviews have been
made as videos & they want to use the video as well as the audio, so i'm
researching the best hosting solution. if we use vimeo we'll need to
start paying (there are 35 videos, of 35m each, & each around 150MB). so
there is a push to use youtube, which obviously i'm trying to resist ...
so trying to convince others that there are alternatives!!

i think there was talk of a peertube instance on our server - has that
happened, or is it happening, & if so would there be any possibility to
host the videos there?
