Sorry for the delay,

I've been waiting to get a better sense of our costs for this event before I got back to you. I'd really like to support your attendance, but we are running this event on a small budget and as you probably know, travel has become super expensive. Warwick is also very strict about what is permitted and this makes things more difficult. Looking at our budget, I believe we could offer you £400 in support, but this wouldn't be enough to cover both accommodation and flights. I know this isn't ideal, but if you would be able to part fund the trip, we could discuss whether we could take care of the accommodation part or the travel part.

If you would like to take this up, we can talk further. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to your presentation on the day. We'll be sending out all the final info tomorrow about the event.
