** Intersectionality in our grantmaking
------------------------------------------------------------
In this post, we share our approach to intersectionality and to putting our values into action as part of a longer story of self-reflection, dialogue and learning.

** Meet Single SuperMom
------------------------------------------------------------
https://alliance-genderequality.org/empowering-single-mothers-in-the-netherlands-meet-single-supermom/
In the Netherlands, nearly one in ten children is born into a single-parent family. We support Single SuperMom’s work of empowering single mothers who are at the highest risk of living in poverty and social exclusion through our economic opportunities fund (https://alliance-genderequality.org/we-are-announcing-3-47me-in-grants-for-organisations-working-at-the-intersection-of-economic-inclusion-and-gender-equality-in-europe/) .
** A collective of feminist journalists
------------------------------------------------------------
https://alliance-genderequality.org/medfeminiswiya-empowering-feminist-journalists/
“Today, gender equality does not really exist in any country in the Mediterranean. That is why we created MedFemiNiswiya,” says Samia Allalou in our article exploring how they are building a safe space for women journalists to publish their work and develop their skills.
** Funding opportunities at Civitates
------------------------------------------------------------
Civitates has launched two new open calls (https://civitates-eu.org/protecting-and-expanding-civic-space-in-europe/) to defend and protect democracy and civic space across Europe.
Priority countries for this call are: Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, France and Austria.
📅 Submission deadline: 18 August 2024, 6 PM CET
** Funding opportunities at Dalan Fund
------------------------------------------------------------
Dalan Fund has launched a call for applications (https://dalan.fund/whats-new/call-for-applications) for its pilot cycle to fund movement-led efforts for crisis preparedness, prevention, response, and recovery work.
Eligible countries for this call are in Central and Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Central and North Asia.
