Hi all,

As part of the upcoming conference
'EASST-4S 2024 Amsterdam: Making and Doing Transformations', we are pleased to be hosting a panel focussing on (Collective Infrastructures)[https://nomadit.co.uk/conference/easst-4s2024/panel/14253].
Digital infrastructures that are characterised by the "cloud", are dominated by extractive corporations controlling our means of collaboration. We look to how collectives and communities are making transformations in infrastructures as system admins, community organisers and practitioner groups, forming protocols and ways of doing otherwise.

In addition to activities during the conference, we are hosting a federated blogging platform [https://ci.servpub.net/read] (writefreely instance) as a repository to allow us to facilitate a forum outside of the bounds*limits of academic conferences. Our hope is that an extended group of people can get involved in the discussion and leave thoughts asyncronously. We would like to invite contributions on the theme of collective infrastructures with the view to selected contributions becoming another publication in the future.

We are open to all forms of contribution including text, image, prose, diagrams etc. If you have a thought about how you might want to contribute but aren't sure how to go about it, please get in touch.

If you would like to add to this platform, please fill out the following form to receive a link to create an account: https://cryptpad.fr/form/#/2/form/view/Vch8PifjC5Y8bvlyV-jmZuWL41d6-N8IEAOrzSEHpMw/

Please share this invitation with anyone you feel would be interested.

Best wishes,
In-grid
