** Funding opportunity at GirlDreamer

Through a grant from the Alliance, GirlDreamer will support 10 women of colour-led social impact organisations based in the UK with micro-grants of up to £2,500 each and business development support to bring their visions to life.

** Caring for care workers

“Women are often expected to care for free, and wages in the care sector reflect this thinking,” says Tereza Táborská in a recent interview (https://alliance-genderequality.org/interview-with-alice-caring-for-care-workers/) about the work of ALICE, a trade union of care workers in the Czech Republic, which we are supporting through our 2023 economic opportunities fund (https://alliance-genderequality.org/we-are-announcing-3-47me-in-grants-for-organisations-working-at-the-intersection-of-economic-inclusion-and-gender-equality-in-europe/) .
