Hi there,

I'm ariane. I hope you don't mind a cold-email, with many questions.
I found you through riseup's list of radical servers. I love your overall goal of making IT more accessible to women. I work in a male-dominated industry (technical theatre) so I understand the struggle.

I run a (very) small radical/feminist discussion group called Passionate Politics, currently from my living room in South London.

I'm trying to expand a bit, and as part of that I'm starting to reconsider the technical aspects of the operation. I have a Whatsapp group where I post upcoming dates, and a small info page and RSVP form via Notion. There's nothing wrong with this exactly, but it would be nice to move away from big tech, and big AI. Which is how I found you!

I'd like to start a mailing list, to get away from Whatsapp being the main source of info. Is that something you'd be willing to help with? If so, is there a cost associated with that? My budget is approximately £0; I don't want to waste your time, or take the p***.

I was also cheekily wondering if you might be able to host a webpage for me. I just need one front page, with a link to a form so people can let me know they're coming / join the mailing list.

With that in mind, any recommendations for a way I can replace Notion for the RSVP form too would be very welcome!
The USP is that I have a private Notion page set up where I can see the responses in a table sorted by date. I reuse the same link again and again, changing the upcoming date in question, and only look at responses from X date onwards. Is there a good alternative platform you're aware of that would allow that?
