Dear syster server,

I am Idem, writing on behalf of Nijmeegs Jantien, a non-binary collective
of squatters who operate in Nijmegen (Nimwegen). A little while ago I was
at an exhibition that was hosted in Nijmegen where I came into contact with
vo ezn, whose presentation sparked my interest in locally hosted servers.
As you might imagine, we engage in a lot of communication as well as
archiving of data that is sensitive, and we are looking for ways to allow
our members to be better protected against court cases and the likes. This
interest is growing with squatter collectives on a national scale, although
we are the first to formally approach this subject.
The problem is that we have next to zero knowledge on the technical and
practical organization of such systems. That is why we are reaching out for
help on the matter. Me and one other member are spearheading this
investigation, and this is our first step. Is there any advice or resource
that you can give us?
