We invite you to the first sharing session of our 2026 membership
meetings to be held on Tuesday, April 14 at 12pm (Mexico City) / 2pm
(New York). This discussion is in webinar format, and anyone interested
is welcome to participate, even if they are not members of May First.

The technology companies that host large volumes of data and mediate
everyday communications are the same ones that provide infrastructure to
armies, fund mass surveillance systems and develop artificial
intelligence to optimize remote bombing. In today's wars, military AI
decides targets, predicts threats and automates violence. The tech
giants - Amazon, Google, Microsoft - have signed defense contracts worth
billions of dollars. And now these tech facilities have become war
targets, a sign that the global movement is beginning to recognize that
technological infrastructure is also war infrastructure

At May First we want to think collectively about this scenario and its
implications for those of us who build autonomous technologies in the
service of social movements. How do we sustain emancipatory digital
tools when the ecosystem in which we operate finances repression? To
open the dialogue we will be joined by Tadamun Antimili Collective and
Grassroots Global Justice Alliance.
