Hi all,

We took profit of today's session to discuss a bit the "onboarding
protocol" (which is still a work in progress) and it seems like I forgot
to introduce myself after I subscribed during /etc in Berlin!

So well here's my own (late) intro: I'm Ada, I'm based in Strasbourg
(sometimes in Brussels too) and I've been active in the local
hackerspace Hackstub since about 10 years now. There, back in 2021 with
some other women/queer people we initiated what we call a "hacqueen
house" to develop some cyberfeminist practices (such as CV dazzle
makeup, HTML/CSS workshops - "cybershacks", digital self-defense) and
engage topics around it without cis men.

And I'm very happy to be part of this mailing-list now because we're
trying to gather a team for a local feminist server (respecting a very
slow pace to not pressure each others too much). On my own, I've been
doing admin sys for various sized linux servers since 15 years but not
seriously enough to avoid losing lots of data because of defective
backup routines and sometimes because of risky individual moves... Which
I don't do in collective server anymore now ^^. I make my best to
maintain a better hygiene where I can and I like to learn new techniques
and tools with other people.

So with all this, I could contribute to the collective in such ways:
documentation, coordination, troubleshooting/maintenance. But of course
I also have a limited amount of time to give to all this so I can't
promise to be able to do all of those :') simply I like to contribute
where I can when it's appreciated.

That's pretty much it I think!

hugs for those who want some,

ada
